What are some useful spanish phrases i could use when i meet my host family in guatemala?

i'm going to be living with a host family and studying spanish in guatemala. i know very little right now, but that's kinda the point :). i was just wondering if you could suggest some phrases i could use when i meet the family. things like "thank you for having me" "i'm really excited" "you have a nice home" etc. i'm really nervous but excited :D.

thanks.

Gracias por tener me en su casa. (Thank you for having me in your home).

Su casa es muy bonita/ grande/ bella. (Your house is very pretty/ big/ beautiful).

Es un placer conocer ustedes. (It is a pleasure to meet you).

Estoy muy encantada de estar en Guatemala con su familia. (I'm very happy to be in Guatemala with your family).

Also try freetranslation.com but it's not always 100% accurate. If you're not sure what to say, just say "No entiendo" (I don't understand) or "Repite, por favor" (Please repeat.)

Good Luck & Happy Valentines Day!

Que Onda. . Gracias Para todos.. como stas usted . .say usted they find that to be respectful. .SayDonde esta La mota. Gracies por toda
