How do I find out what has host in a halo 2 game?

In Halo 2 people always say so-and-so has host, what are they looking at and how can you tell who has host?

Easy way is to see his ping,host has no ping,also,the host is the 1st on the list.

look for the person whose picture comes up first when the game first starts the rest will be red "X"s

host is usually first on the list. otherwise it will say in the box before you enter a game.
