What are the requirements for becoming a casino host?

I'd like to know what the necessary qualifications/skills are needed in order to become a host at a casino, as well as where I could possiby get the training for these skills (specialized colleges? certain courses or majors?).

Its these and then some:

1) who you know (both in gaming and outside of gaming)

2) gaming experience

3) background,education

Connections/experience about 10 to 20 years worth OR know a bunch of hi rollers you can interest in playing and staying in one casino and ask to be their host you will still need a lot of casino operations experience.SHOOTER
