What are your thoughts on Stephenie Meyer's new book The Host?

I just finished The Host and wow. It was a great book. I loved it. So I was wondering on what some of your opinions on it are. Who are you favorite characters,moments, or etc? And who would you choose Ian or Jared?

I haven't read "The Host" yet, but I ♥ the Twilight series :]

i read it a few days ago and i thought the book was AWSOME, i feel like such a nerd when i say this but i cried!!! i hope im not the only one, the book was just so great, Stephanie has done such a good job! I mean ok, i dont want to ruin the ending for others who are reading it but it was so unexpected, and i really was so proud of Mealine...but i gotta say in the beginning the book was kind of confusing i had to read the summary to udnerstand wat was going on, once i figured it out i swear to god all i did was read and finished the book in like a day and a half (i had school work)...its so interesting and it really captivates ur atttention when u get in teh book

OMG i looooved The Host!!!! i couldnt put it down!! i normally hate science fiction, but this was great! my favorite character is Ian....he's just really sweet and i always felt better when he was around lol. i am sooo glad that Stephenie Meyer found a way for Ian and Wanda and Jared and Melanie to be together at the end...i was really worried that Wanda was gonna either leave Earth or die. Stephenie Meyer is sooo amazing and i cant wait for Breaking Dawn!!! i expect many great books from her in the future!!!

I started it yesterday and so far I love it. When I read the flap I was very confused. But then I read the prolouge and upto chapter three and it cleared a lot of things up. I love the way she discribes things and the whole thought process.
