What web host would be the right for me?

I am looking for a good web host for a low to medium-traffic blog. Dreamhost currently has a GREAT deal (2 years for $11) today only but it is currently extremely slow, I can't even get to the sign up page.

It should be cheap, and relatively easy to use. Any ideas?

Hosts like dreamhost are not the solution.. they usually go down a lot and provide no support.

for my opinion, if your blog is still having low traffics maybe you should go free one first, after your blog is growing you can go on for paid one, if you one setup wordpress on free webhost there is no problem there are so many free webhost right now that offer free SQL and pHp, so we can run wordpress blog on free webhost.. huh..

Don't pay for web hosting. Free Hostia has a free plan that offers 200MB of web space and 5GB of Internet traffic. They offer 20 free sub domains and top level domain for just $10. They are very easy to use too. I love there hosting.

Godaddy doesn't offer a free domain, but you can get one for $2.19 if you're buying hosting from them, plus they also have a 20% sale at the moment.

Well seeing that blogs don't take too much bandwidth I'd go with lite-hosting.net as it's only 2.50/mo for 500mb storage 5mySQLs and 1GB bandwidth. Though I think they are doing a Christmas special or something for cheeep.
