How did everyone find The Host By Stephenie Meyer?

I was just wondering how everyone found The Host by Stephenie Meyer, which I adore.

I loved the first 3 books of the Twilight Saga, so when the Host came out, I was excited, but I wasn't expecting to be quite as amazed as with Twilight. I thought it was a little slow at first, but once Melanie/Wanda joined the humans, everything clicked into place. I adored how Melanie's emotions and Wanda's morphed into one, yet Wanda was still able to love Ian. I also thought that the way Wanderer was able to love Earth out of all the other planets she had inhabited was interesting because Earth seemed so much more violent and unappetizing to a soul than other planets. I adored this book, even more so than New Moon and Eclipse, and can't wait for the other books in the possible trilogy!

Well i read Stephenie Meyer's other books and LOVED them, and I was in the bookstore like a week after it came out and my mom was like "that author you like, stephenie meyer, her next book is out!" and i was like what? it doesn't come out until august 2nd. But then I realized it was not part of the series but still by Stephenie Meyer, so I decided i would read it, and it was awesome!

I thought it was much better than the Twilight series which was complete garbage in my opinion.

I wouldn't go as far as saying the book was good, but I'll say that it wasn't bad.

It reminded me too much of the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld. The Uglies series is great though

I loved it. I absolutely loved it. It just felt so real and I cried when I thought Wanda died. I felt so stupid but it's true. :) It also makes you think... will aliens some day come and invade our planet and minds? Hmmm... you never know.

To me it's much better than Twilight. I really hope she makes it a trilogy.

She says that if she does it would be The Host, The Seeker, and The Soul. Sounds perfect!

Sorry, didn't like it, its pace way way too slow to hold my interest for more than a few pages at a time so I put it down and have yet to bring myself to read anymore.

I liked the storyline but the snail-like pace killed me. It was a bit slow for my taste.

it was confusing at first but when you get the idea of the story its really good! i loved it!
