Why USA always want to host Olympics once in every 10 years ?

They got to host in 1984 and in 1996.They are trying to hijack Brazil's hope of Hosting Olympics in 2016 by sending Chicago for bid.Olympics mean get-together of every country in world and If USA wins bid to host 2016 Olympics,I along with majority of world will be disappointed That IOC differentiates between developed and developing.Beijing got because China is politically powerful country whereas Brazil and others doesn't have that advantage.

The USA must give chances to other bidders! Two more continents haven't stage the Olympics since 1896.

Give Brazil the chance, it will be the first time that the Olympics will be held in South America!

Well, you have to have the money and the means to host the Games. The U.S. does. Look at Athens now, they're millions of dollars in debt and the some of the venues are reportedly in ruins now.

self centred greed... they have had more than their fair share of hosting in the recent past, and have been outshone by other hosting nations since...... personally I reckon no country should get to host the game more than once every 50 or so years...

don't forget they hosted the Winter Olympics in 2002
